Designed with anglers in mind, it offers the perfect balance between peace, relaxation, and serious fishing. Whether you’re chasing the thrill of a hard-fighting carp or simply unwinding by the water’s edge, the lake provides a truly unique holiday experience, all just steps from your cottage.
Our New Residents
Etang Des Greens has welcomed five outstanding new residents, each selected with care to strengthen the lake’s already impressive stock.
To mark the occasion, the first angler to catch the Mandarin catfish or either of the two new mirrors will earn the honour of giving them their forever name.
Nemo
First up is ‘Nemo’, a striking 64lb jet black sturgeon, named by owner Tom due to his slightly smaller pectoral fin. All muscle and instantly recognisable, he is powerful, resilient and sure to test anyone lucky enough to hook him.
Gizmo
Next is ‘Gizmo’, a distinctive 38.5lb fathead carp, named by Mum for his unique look and big personality. The kind of fish that sticks in your mind long after the session ends.
Mirror Carp
For the carp anglers, two exceptional mirrors have joined the water. One weighs 48lb and is already show1ng signs of breaking the 50lb barrier. The standout is a magnificent 52lb mirror, solid, imposing and a genuine dream capture.
Mandarin Catfish
We have also introduced a beautiful 45lb Mandarin catfish, elegant yet powerful, with huge potential still to come. A true golden gem of the lake.

Étang des Greens is home to a thriving stock of hard-fighting carp and catfish, offering anglers of all abilities the chance to land something truly memorable.
Carp
Mirror and Common carp running into the 50lb+ range, with plenty of 20s, 30s, and 40s to keep the action consistent.
Catfish
Powerful Wels catfish up to 125lb+, providing the ultimate test of strength and stamina.
Mixed Species
A healthy head of silver fish and smaller carp ensure there’s always something on the line, making it ideal for varied fishing.

Fish welfare first – Use carp/cat care kits and only the provided mats, nets, and slings.
Line requirements – Minimum 20lb main line with 50cm tubing; no braid.
Hooks & rigs – Barbless hooks only; no crimped barbs or fixed rigs.
Bait restrictions – Only on-site boilies and particles allowed.
Angler limits – Max 4 anglers; extra must be pre-approved (2 rods each).
Respect the lake – No keepnets, no sacking, and leave no litter.
